Album review: Dead Club City
I heard this album when it came out, after all, it's from one of my favorite bands, but I don't know why I completely forgot about it. I listened to it maybe one or two times and then moved out. Maybe someone also realised music at the same time and I liked it more?. Now I feel bad for not giving it the attention it deserves, because after listening again, I love this album.
I rediscovered this album after watching a production breakdown of one if its songs, I didn't noticed before that well done production and it captivated me. Then I went to listen to the album again and I've having it on repeat until today.
Every time I play it, I get so hype up and feel a rush of happiness.
My humble opinion:
- I like every single song
- The production of everything (vocals, instruments) it's perfect, I think it has a great balance and every detail works very well in every song.
- Great instrumentals and synths
- The vocalist it's amazing as always
My favorites:
- Tomorrow is Closed. this is the song I've listen the most, I like to listen to this live version. I also like the lyrics.
- City hunters. this song makes me want to sing it every time.
- Do you love me yet? love the keyboard and synths in this song, makes me dance! The guitar at the end it's great too.
- Members only. The guitar! this is another bop.
- Oh No :: He said What? I love the retro feeling in this song, the pauses in Oh no - we have - lost control get me every time. The end it's also great.
- Time :: Fate :: Karma :: God. I run out of complements already. I just enjoy it, a lot.
Thanks for reading :)
I'm not sure if this is a review, I think it's just me being a fan and saying that I love everything hahah
