Talking about the world

I finally listened to Jimi Hendrix

I know and still don't know much of old rock, of course I've heard of the name Jimi Hendrix but I've never listen to his music before, not even by luck. So I finally checked out his music and overpass my expectations, I had really big thought since it's know he is a legend, besides his name I knew nothing more,my mind was a blank canvas and allow me to absorb his music fully.

It surprised me and after hearing his album Electric Laydyland I understood why he is a legend and a guitarist that many other guitarist love. It surprised me more that he was living in the 60s and rocked that way. I love that album now, and I added to my mental collection of legendary albums.

His guitar sound it's soulful, free and chill at the same time. Now I need to watch all the live performances recordings I can find.

My favorite song from him right now it's Gypsy eyes, Ive replayed it so many times. Voodoo Child is I think iconic too. From the same album I also like crossroad traffic and Come On (Let the Good Times Roll).

I like his vocals too, I haven't hear people mention it as often because is overpower by his guitar skills, but people should.

Thanks for reading :)

Pd: Ok, I listen to the album again and now I can't choose my favorites. All of them are soo good. Funk, rock, blues, this album has it all, a masterpiece.
