Talking about the world

Lavender media (Bearblog Carnaval)

This is a post for this month Bearblog Carnaval hosted by Xaya :)

Thinking about what to write for this post I released I haven't watched much lavender media. I do want to find good queer media of course, so I'm interested to check out others post on this Bearblog Carnaval!

Still I have some media that I enjoyed recently and I'll talk about them in this post!

And another lovely day

When I found this web comic I was very happy because, 1: the author made another comic that I loved (Gourmet Hound) and 2: because the two main characters are aro ace people and that is so rare to see. I've read almost everything is out by now and is wonderful! the story is very well written and the characters feel real, their struggles well represented. it shows that the story is made with love so I appreciate the author's work so much.

I'll recommend to check Gourmet Hound as well if you like the vibe of this. Leehama (the author) has stories that feel very natural and wholesome. I end up loving her characters.

The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at All

Writing about the comic I remembered this manga. This is a very cute manga, I started to read it years ago and it just made me happy, is one of those silly fun high schooler's stories and I really enjoyed it at the time, now I don't remember much since I haven't picked it up. What I also liked about this manga is that they talk about music, rock to be more specific and I love when music is involved in any of the media I watch.

Searching it up today I found out that they're doing an anime adaptation, so that's exciting!

Chosen Home

This is a show I'm watching right now and has become a confort show for me, I wait every weekend to watch the new episode as I eat my breakfast. Is a founded family story in a way and I love those. It's not a big story with a lot of things going on, is more of a show you watch calmly in the comfort of your couch. Every character has something they're dealing with, trying to make sense of their own path in life and I like watching their growth as the show goes by.

There was a quote I liked from the last aired episode:

There are many things that don't have a name, but even those things can be as important as the ones who have a name ¿Right?

This show makes you ponder about life, family, society and I'm a fan of media that does that.

At first I wasn't sure about writing this post because I didn't have much idea what to write, but then I slowly started to remember some media and when I sat to write it, surprisingly a lot more words came though.

Thanks for reading (●'◡'●)
