Learning how to identify clouds
The other day I found a lecture teaching how to identify and name clouds, it's was perfect timing because I've been meaning to learn about this, so I watched it and it wasn't difficult at all! the names looked hard but what surprised me is that, generally, there are just three types of clouds in this naming method. I think the explanation in the video really helped me too, he explains it very well and I had no troubles following the lecture. After watching it I can name most clouds, now I can't see a cloud and not trying to identify it, I see one in a video and go "Oh that's a cumulus!" haha, I also look at the sky every day to practice.
Because I liked this lecture I decided to continue watching all the lectures about weather, this was the first one and I was intrigued. So far I've watched three and I liked them all! I get the concepts and I feel like I can even teaching to someone else, because I see the logic of it. Every time I finish one I left more curious about how weather works and I can't wait to learn more. I don't know any of these concepts, I think they taught me a little bit in school but superficially and I don't remember any.
I had a great time learning this, that it made me realize that I love learning, just not studying in a traditional (sitting in desk for hours) way. For some time I've been thinking on getting some books on different topics to learn, I had in my list linguistics and now I'll add weather!
