New theme (Windows 7 inspired)
Maybe if you are a regular reader of this blog you already noticed, but yea, I changed my blog theme! it should be already out by the time I post this. If you don't see it maybe reload the page? (Ctr+Shift+R)
Yesterday I was bored and like a person that thinks coding it's fun I thought "Why not doing a new theme for my blog?". Lately retro style has been pretty popular in clothes, in music, in tech, etc., I've seen people using the retro style of Windows XP for example or old MacOS, but I didn't grew up with any of those, I did used Windows XP but I was very little. Instead I grew up using Windows 7 all my childhood and teen years.
I like the retro look so that's why I decided to make a new theme inspired in Windows 7. It's obviously not perfect, but I think it's good enough to use it on my blog. I upload the CSS code to my github and created a readme to show how I use this theme, in case someone wants to try it out or want some inspiration.
I always have two versions of my themes: dark and light. Choosing the dark colors was harder then I thought but it looks nice, although I like more the light version on this one.
After making this I realize I like those glossy buttons, I wasn't aware that I missed this style and in honor to that feeling I named this theme: Nostalgia
