Song memories #2
There was a time when I would walk to college every morning and of course I would listen to music. The first days I played some random playlists or an album, but then I thought on doing a special playlist for it (later it become the playlist I would listen all the time). That routine of listen those songs while walking the same route to school gave me so much comfort.
From this playlist I remember a song in particular: "NANANA" by GOT7, a friend of mine recommended some songs from them and I found this one. I'd play the playlist on shuffle most of the time and when this song came out I felt energetic, every step I took I felt full of happiness and I would forget if I was sleepy or tired. It lifted my mood every time.
I remember walking, the silent morning and slightly cold breeze, I would carry my bottle of water and my backpack that had barely one notebook and a couple of pens. My steps synchronized to the music, I even sang a little bit quietly the chorus because there weren't a lot of people around. I'd forget I was walking and just vibe with the music. Then the song would end and I'd went back to a calmer peace.
I liked every song in the playlist (because I did it myself obviously) but that one song made me specially happy. It was like a gentle alarm that could wake me up and prepare me for the day.
